It is not possible to delete any group chat, used or unused. If it exists, it exists permanently.

@ that mgame loser... you KNOW you fucked up when even Hex, one of the calmest and most polite people I've ever seen on the web, calls you out.
I’m trans, this hits closer to home than most things.
Well I am currently being blackmailed for banning someone who sat in VC blowing dogwhistles like they’d lost their corgi in the woods.
They say they’ll be making a callout post by Sunday at noon unless I:
See you guys on Sunday! Just thought I’d get ahead of this.
Remember, folks. Getting mad at racism and being against transphobic language against a trans woman is dogwhistling and means you are transphobic, somehow… But I forgot, integrity and even consequences for false accusation means very little on the internet.
Behind the screen is a person. I happened to be a person who doesn’t accept false accusations, and was willing to talk this over, but got ignored until I mentioned resolving this externally. Which meant “callout post” to this one. Weird how it took that.
The above “demands I made” are all bullshit. I asked for a meeting with the staff to talk over being called a transphobe. I was quite upset at the time about being called that (That’s a serious thing to me, along with other types of bigotry, which I have always been against) and punished without ever even asking me about it. Again, I didn’t bring up trans people. Someone else brought up a trans woman to denigrate her. Kind of sounds transphobic of the other person to me.
When this was being discussed on the Tumblr instant messenger (“30 DMs”… Really? Two asks were sent, which were ignored until the external resolution was brought up in the Tunblr messeger, which then we had and have been conversing. Don’t act like it is me blowing up your phone with you not answering back.), I brought up that I was so upset from the false accusation, I wanted to demand a public apology from my accusers in the server to show that making serious false accusations should have consequences, but since I had calmed down (while still hurt), I just wanted the accusations to be retracted. Not by Steve here. By those who accused me. They could have told Steve, “Hey, we’re dropping that accusation.” Not even apologize. Which Steve could relay to me. And this all would have been over.
And now it has come to this. What a wonderful world.
After a good night’s sleep to bring down emotions enough to focus, I noticed something I should have seen before.
“Blackmailed.” Of all the words or phrases to use, why that one? Not “threatened to spread lies,” not “demanding whatever and is going to say false information if I don’t give in.” For blackmail to happen, one must do something wrong, knowingly or realizing it was wrong later, and someone else finding out about it would then use that info as leverage. If I was just “blowing dogwhistles,” why would one assume any blackmail could come from this? Methinks thou doth protest too much.
I gave a warning that I was going to expose my accusers of being manipulative liars externally, who throw harsh labels like chimps throwing shit, if my request/demand of revealing them internally was ignored. Not only did I get a response from it, I got a full conversation with it. Hmm.
So by saying I would reveal my accusers and their corroborators as manipulative liars, Steve was neither in this, Steve decided “getting ahead of this” was to show he was a manipulative liar. Blind one leading the blind.
But good news and silver linings all around here. I don’t want or need those false accusations retracted. This has shown more than enough to me. The silver lining for you all is that neither you nor they will ever be impacted by this. As long as people get their roleplaying chat site, of course they will overlook any crap. I doubt you will come out the slightest bit wiser from this, but hope springs eternal.
so was it blaire white you were defending or we you just not gonna acknowledge that part
So yeah, keep trying to turn it around on me. Like I said before, maybe the wisdom to think twice before making baseless accusations will take root somewhere along the way.
Hey there, just two small things I’d love to ask.
1) What were they saying that was Transphobic. Because you claimed they, your accusers, were using transphobic language, but I believe they were actually calling her a TERF. Which a trans person could absolutely be? I just wondered if it would be possible for you to expand upon that.
2) Why did it take you so long to ever bring up the fact people were apparently being racist / using the N-Word. I know personally, if someone was doing that, and it was both personally offending me and a violation of a that servers rules, I’d be getting a mod involved ASAP, not spending multiple extra hours with them.
“A Good Trans.” I find that the equivalent of calling a black person who isn’t aggressive to other races/ethnicities/skin colors, especially white people, man even this is hard to say, an “uncle of the Thomas variety.” Or a black person who like reading and rock music a “cookie sandwhich with creme in the middle.” I actually was going to talk about how TERF could be considered problematic in itself, but the topic was asked to be dropped, which I apologized for getting passionate about. Human rights in general is something I jump on, regardless of the group/trait of human.
Long? It was brought up quick enough in the private chat conversation between Steve and I.
If you are saying about the VC, that topic was more angrily requested to be dropped. First time, it was a bit shocking, but the person brought it up that another person sent that message to them. Okay. Fine. Second time, I had to say something. Just say “the N-Word.” They actually got a bit aggressive about it. “I am relaying what was sent to me!” Why did the full word have to be said? Even when “relaying” the message. “I’m just saying (message with the full word again)!” It was dropped after some snark.
But it got dropped. Other topics popped up that cooled things down. I think MMOs was the last topic. As far as I thought, the person learned and wouldn’t be using that word again.
Then the next day, the server was gone off my Discord sidebar. I thought it was a problem with Discord itself. So I clicked the link from Tumblr, and even said something like “Discord said I left the server.”
Which was when the accusation was brought up through the Discord PM, and then I was immediately kicked from the server. And if you don’t share a server with someone, or the person blocks you, no DM is getting through. I couldn’t even ask Steve about it on Discord, because I couldn’t get back in to see if he knew about this. This kind of accusation I don’t take lightly. So, because I clicked the link from here, I sent an ask here. Waited a while, nothing. I sent another ask. Nothing again. Okay…. So I actually got mad and thought Steve was actually going to overlook this. I sent the chat instant message of my first ask copy and pasted. Still nothing. So I warned him that because I found the accusation serious, and he was ignoring me (Green dot was on. He was there.), that on Sunday, I would solve this externally if nothing internally was going to be done. A response right after. Wow! What are the chances?!
And he brought up the accusation. I blatantly denied it because it wasn’t true at all. Those screenshots aren’t even like “out of context” things I said. They were things I completely didn’t say. Just flat out.
I can see misinterpreting what I did talk about as queerphobia against the entire LGBTQ+ community because I said that gatekeeping is a tool that can be used for good or bad. And that we in the LGBTQ+ community need better gatekeeping because Pedos came in. Which I now can see that it looks like I am blaming the LGBTQ+ community for the Pedos, instead of the pedos being subversive and taking advantage of the pushback against gatekeeping. “Pedos came in.” I didn’t even “brought in.” Nor was it about trans people! This is why this is a problem. They didn’t even make a serious accusation that coincides what could’ve been seen!
And because I was fuming at what was going on, yep I went tit-for-tat. If “defending” BLAIR WHITE is transphobic (because those blatant lies that aren’t even misquotes aren’t going to be my focal points anymore), then saying the N-Word three times is racist. After that, the people who accused me went against the person after I brought it up. So, actual use of the N-Word wasn’t brought up, but I said trans people brought in pedos. Yet no doubt even came up that they could be being manipulative about this accusation. They were going to omit one person’s actual language to focus on a completely false accusation. Because I had the gall to not like “A Good Trans.” Not even the TERF part, which was brought up in that screenshot, yet “A Good Trans” wasn’t mentioned. Lying by ommission is still lying and should’ve caused some deeper questioning of those who accused me.
I was pissed at my accusation. It is a serious thing. Who would just shrug at being called a bigot based on bringing up a specific group of people I didn’t even bring up? And kicked out for it without even being allowed to tell the staff that wasn’t true. Accused, silenced, and possibly assumed I would just take it. Well, they bet wrong.
Ugh… This message is so scattered because of me thinking about what happened all over again, and I am stressed again.
Of course, people are still going to foolishly reply that this is about rejoining the server. It’s not. But transphobia, queerphobia, racism, sexism, and so on, are very serious topics. To have it be said so easily, so cheaply. That really doesn’t bother anyone else? Even if it does or doesn’t, it bothers me.
“We banned you because you are an asshole,” would’ve been a better reason that I would take. It would hurt a bit. Yeah, it would. But nothing further would have come of it.
TERF could be considered problematic in itself
Absolutely fucking not, actually. If you consider a label the community uses to identify patterns of thought and behavior that are actively dangerous and used against us to be ‘problematic’, then I think that speaks more to your character than it does anyone who uses that term to refer to someone else.
Bad actors exist, and it is imperative that we are able to both identify and defend against them. If you genuinely consider it problematic and aren’t just doing some stupid devil’s advocate shit for a transphobic frame of mind as the world’s shittiest centrist thought experiment, then you’ve shown very clearly where you stand on trans issues and you deserve both the ban, and the accusations of your transphobia.
Thank you for only seeing one line. And making a whole post on that. You know, instead of the “Good Trans” to the “Uncle of The Thomas variety” and “Sandwich Cookie” thing. But hey, reading. I forgot saying reading is important is met with mocking nerd emojis. Because learning deserves to be mocked and willful ignorance should be held up.
I don’t actually care about your justifications for a fundamentally flawed and hateful worldview, nor am I interested in debating you and giving them any shred of legitimacy, thanks. I don’t have to respond to the whole of what you said in order to take issue with a part of it and point it out.
You had a bad take, one of several that prove that all of this is actually quite justified. I doubt very much you’re going to get any retraction, no matter how much you kick and scream like an impudent child. Act your age, look inward before you point outward.

The network issues have been resolved. Dreambubble should be running good and proper again.
Anonymous asked:
I can't seem to connect to anyone on Dreambubble, it's just sitting on the search screen endlessly. I've even tried removing all my filters. Is there something wrong on my end or is the site wonky at the moment?
My server’s network card is semi-broken, so there will be intermittent delays and outright failures until the replacement shows up at my door hopefully tomorrow.
Anonymous asked:
hey does parp/dreambubble have a discord server?
MxRP has an official Discord server.
https://discord.gg/A27Cay5
Dreambubble meanwhile has a Guilded server.
https://www.guilded.gg/i/pYrj595E?cid=01b59f7f-d307-4a82-8180-770b6982adf9&intent=announcement
Though the MxRP server does have a channel for dreambubble that I pay attention to.
Anonymous asked:
hey hex. just out of curiosity, when you were a mod for mxrp, were mods able to look through a specific accounts logs, or were mods only able to search through chats that got active mod summons?
Spamless typically clued us in on questionable content that we would need to investigate. From there, if a full sweep of a user’s logs across the entire site became necessary, it would be something only someone with direct database access would be capable of. MxRP’s administrative toolset does not yet allow for that broad of a search.
That said, none of this should come as a surprise to anyone. No chats are fully private to the moderation, and neither should they be.
Anonymous asked:
I know MxRP is back and all but do you plan on bringing dreambubble back? Even if it's just long enough for people to grab logs from there?
I plan to, but here’s the situation.
Right now I’m without a reliable computer, because mine has broken down after years of reliable service. I’ve done what I can to diagnose the issue, and have come to the conclusion that it’s a lost cause.
Dreambubble’s data is perfectly fine, but given the state of things on my end there’s no real way for me to go about bringing dreambubble up again and managing it until I can source a replacement.
Which is problematic given
a) Computers are expensive.
b) Pretty much all of my funds go towards paying rent and buying food. I have extremely limited wiggle room.
I will get it sorted, but I’m sorry to say that I can’t give anyone a timeframe on it.
Anonymous asked:
is the site down for any particular reason?
It’s been going down a lot lately, and I’m trying to diagnose why this is. Standby.
Anonymous asked:
now that steve has bought mxrp, are you going to keep dreambubble up? i know at least a few people who don't fully trust the whole steve/mxrp in general situation and would love to see dreambubble stick around, but i understand how it might not be worth it.
It might be an opportunity for me to focus on my rewrite of Dreambubble instead of struggle to manage and maintain legacy code.
