I don’t have a job anymore. The TL;DR of it is, the place was terribly mismanaged and I wasn’t getting payed either what I was owed, or when I was owed it. Now here we are.

I need to make Dreambubble pull in some kind of revenue to help ease the pains of being unemployed. The way that I want to do this is through user-purchaseable ad space on the site. Spots on the home page, and on the page you sit around in while you wait to connect to somebody.

Ads will not appear in chats themselves, despite this being the mist viewed area of the site by a longshot. They will not appear in logs either. These spaces are very important to the user experience, and it should not be messed with lightly.

All ads would be manually reviewed, ensuring that they meet our guidelines and that they pose no harm to anybody.

NSFW advertisements will be prohibited, but there is an opportunity to add them down the line as a site-preference which defaults to ‘off’. I have not yet decided on this particular point yet.

There are now dedicated ‘Site Help’, 'Report’, and 'Appeal’ tags on the Dreambubble forums. If you post to them, only yourself and site moderators are able to see the discussion.

To reflect this, the Report button has been re-enabled and set to direct people there.

Dreambubble is back online again.

And my network has been upgraded big time. Here’s hoping that it’ll result in less strange latency blips.

My internet is down right now, so that’s why dreambubble is offline. I’ll give an update on this when it’s resolved.
