Just to put to rest the idea that cherp may be in decline. It isn’t, this level of activity is to be expected around this time of year.
So I got my hands on the original msparp boards stylesheets from the wayback machine, and it still mostly works.
Some things left to do of course but this is promising.
Please don’t idolize me too much.

Progress continues on rebuilding the msparp boards.
So I made a discord bot that automatically applies troll quirks, for homestuck roleplay servers.
It works a lot like tupperbox and pluralkit, allowing you to define your characters and then use them anywhere the bot has access to (after adding them to that server)
Exact usage instructions are in this server, and you can add the bot to other servers from here too. Just click on the bot in the user list.
Features include:
- Message quirking in chat-style format.
- Profile pictures
- React with :question: to find out which discord user sent a message, and what the message is without quirks applied
- Robust quirk definition system using json files, allowing for simple or complex usecases

The msparp forums. It had a lot going for it.

I’d just like to take a moment to chat about something personal to me. It’s a bit of a heavy thing to discuss and there’s some details about it that I don’t feel very comfortable sharing, but I figured that I have little to lose in reaching out for some help.
To preempt any worries, this means absolutely nothing for Dreambubble. It stays up regardless of anyone’s generosity. It is so cheap to host that it’s largely a non-issue.
